collide in this debut itch-that-you-can't-scratch from Dancers. Casting
unreciprocated glances at all the right influences high and low, Three Hundred
Songs (1) is an amalgamation of no-brainer aesthetics, house-holder synthesis,
here-a-beat-there-a-beat percussion, audio Twomblyism, cards-on-the-table
llyricism, so-so-fi production, and religio-comic miniaturism that just
won't quit for 17 and a half minutes. But of course there's nothing all
that dangerous about it - it's just a cd, isn't it? |
